Measure Progress Every Day Toward Your 90-Day Goal

As we continue to work on our 90-Day Goal, we measure our progress each day. Whether it’s going well, terribly, or in between, success is measured by going to God with our whole selves in the midst of it all. Are you inviting God to share your day and goal and how is he providing for you today?

One of the potential pitfalls of working a life plan, including a 90-Day Goal, is that we can begin to think that we are in control of our lives. We may begin to think that with enough gumption and focus that we can create our future and experience success.

At Younique we believe that your life plan will help you live on mission and help you make your ultimate contribution! However, we know that we cannot do it alone. Accomplishing our goals is not success; sharing every moment and emotion with the Lord is success.

Tip 41: Live God-Centered.

One of the benefits of using Psalms Spirituality to define success and give us a scorecard is that it helps us live God-centered and not self-centered. We absolutely believe that God likes us and made us with care—we are his masterpiece after all! We also know that we were created, in the words of the Westminster Confession, to glorify God and enjoy him forever.

As you continue to work your 90-Day Goal, remember to glorify God and enjoy him. As Paul says in Hebrews 12: “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” When we keep our eyes on Jesus, we live God-centered.

Please send me your questions, challenges, and suggestions as we continue in the 90-Day Goal Together. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing the journey with you.
